Many Las Vegas drivers could use a few lessons

In response to Gene Ahearn’s letter urging bad drivers to get off the road:
Back in the ‘60s, I asked my new husband how he learned to be such a good driver. His answer was, “I don’t drive my car, I drive everything else on the road.”
He was ticketed only once in our 50-plus years together. That was back in the Marilyn Monroe days. It was a windy day and a woman wearing a full skirt was more interesting than the car in front of his.
He also damaged a front bumper when an empty five-gallon paint can showed up on the freeway, and he couldn’t safely change lanes.
I use his rule “drive everything else on the road.” I wish others, especially motorcycle drivers, would do the same.
