No justification for violent protest — on left or right

I fall to the extreme left in most of my ideology, but I cannot overlook or condone the violence done by the “alt-left” or “Antifa” or whatever name they use. By wearing black masks and carrying weapons, these people showed their disdain for the law and were there to provoke violence.

Donald Trump was correct in that there was violence by both sides. I do not stand behind or support any group that resorts to violence, regardless of the provocation. Both sides could have avoided each other or walked away.

I do support the right of free speech by anyone, any group, anywhere. The Bill of Rights stands for all or for none. We all have a duty to meet this speech with non-violence.

But, the only new pipelines needed would be from the desalination plants to the reservoirs or canals.
